Metropolis

In the vast city of Metropolis, where humans and robots live side by side, the powerful Duke Red completes the towering Ziggurat. Following the rogue scientist Dr. Laughton, private detective Shunsaku Ban and his nephew Kenichi rescue a girl named Tima from a fire at the doctor's laboratory. Kenichi and Tima, who does not know she is a robot, grow close, but she is the very being Duke Red means to place on the Ziggurat's throne.
