Appleseed

After the Fifth World War, Deunan and Briareos are wandering a ruined world when they are taken into the utopian city of Olympus and made officers of its ESWAT unit. Humans and bioroids, engineered people, live side by side there under the central computer Gaia. Calon, a policeman whose bioroid wife has killed herself, joins the terrorist Sebastian in a plot to destroy Gaia, and the two find themselves hunting a former colleague.
