Tuxedo Blowing in the Wind

Van, a hungry wanderer in evening dress, comes across thieves closing in on a girl named Wendy Garret. Against the Wild Bunch gang terrorising her town, he calls down his giant Armor, Dann, and cuts down their leader. Wendy is looking for her brother Michael, sold to a man with a mechanical claw, and Van grudgingly lets her come along.

The mayor, pretending to repair the bridge, is secretly building an enormous war machine underneath the work. When he enslaves hundreds of women including Wendy, Van brings down his Armor by exposing where its power comes from.

In the desert town of Gloria, Van meets four old men who once protected the place as Armor pilots. When a mad scientist attacks with his latest invention, the four haul their ancient Armors out of storage. With Van's help they combine into the legendary El Dorado and take back the heroes they used to be.

On the road, Van collapses with a fever and cannot go on. As Wendy nurses him, his memory goes back to Elena, the bride the Claw killed on their wedding day. When the fever breaks, Van calls Wendy by her name for the first time.

A city in a ravine is run by identical twins who cannot stand each other. Van is hired as a bodyguard by one side, and a man named Ray Lundgren goes to work for the other. Ray, who is hunting the Claw too, destroys the twins' Armor without a flicker of hesitation, over Van's objections, and shows how cold he is.

Light My Fire

A pair of lovesick thieves try to steal Van's Armor and fail. A mafia boss arrives on their heels, with no intention of forgiving the daughter who eloped or the man she ran off with. Van beats the boss's Armor in a fight, and the couple sell what is left of it to pay for their wedding.

Vengeance Within

Stranded on an island, Van and Wendy are taken in by a wealthy man at his estate. Little by little he works on them to give up the hunt for the Claw altogether. When Van sees through him the man shows what he is, one of the Claw's own, and calls his Armor, and his death confirms that the Claw already knows Van is coming.

Bound by Blood

A dragon-like Armor attacks the group, and it is Ray who arrives to pull them out of it. Ray's younger brother Joshua works out the machine's weak point, and Van and Ray finally stop it. The pilot turns out to have been dead all along, the Armor running on its own, and Joshua joins the group afterwards.

Carmen Goes Home

To decode the data disk they recovered, the group goes to Carmen's hometown. What they uncover is that the Claw is growing addictive flowers with dangerous side effects. Wendy breathes in too much of the pollen and collapses, and once Van learns the truth, Findley gives his own life to atone for his daughter's part in it.

Thank You Ocean

Arriving at a seaside city, Van agrees to help a salvage union that is trying to raise an enormous metal coffin from the seabed. Against the pirates working to stop them, Van fights their submarine underwater. He wins, and the reward is passage for the whole group to wherever they are going next.

Where the Goodbyes Are

Wendy finally finds her brother Michael at the station, and learns that he has already gone over to the Claw's side. He tells her to go home, and when Van finds out she kept the meeting from him he is openly angry. The metal coffin arrives, and inside it is Saudade of Sunday, one of the ancient Original Seven.

The Days of No Return

Underground, Michael brings Saudade of Sunday to life. Gadved, once Van's friend, steps into his way as a man now serving the Claw. In the sky park Wendy talks about dreams with a stranger, never knowing he is the Claw himself, while Fasalina delivers her master his clawed hand.

Dream in Progress

Ray goes for the Claw and is blocked by Fasalina. Van fights Gadved in Diablo of Monday and is driven back at first. Joshua spoils Ray's shots, Carmen holds Fasalina down, and Michael's arrival lets the Claw get away, but Van beats Gadved and kills him.

Swift Brownie

The group reaches Duel Park, where the B-1 Grand Prix is being held. An Armor manufacturer hires Van to beat the young champion Priscilla and her machine, Brownie. When the two meet they find they think alike, and agree to fight it out fairly.

Neo Originals

Short of money, Wendy bets on a turtle race and wins, and the group boards an airship to reach Carmen. In a flashback, the day Van first met Dann is shown. Woo attacks the airship and wakes Metsä of Tuesday to set it on Van's Armor.

Electric Fireworks

25 min

Beaten and down, Van is told by Woo that he has three days to leave or die. Wendy nurses him and comes down with a fever herself. Thinking back on Elena, Van finds what he needs to stand up again and go to meet the fight that is coming.

Follow the X Spot

The group reunites with their allies, the El Dorado Five among them. They reach the bikini kingdom ruled by Queen Catherine, near Missoghi. Wendy wins a swimming race, Fasalina gets hold of the special materials she came for, and the kingdom collapses in the middle of its evacuation.

Prayers Are for Saudade

Michael becomes fully one with Saudade of Sunday. Muttaaca's crew try to seize him as a hostage to force the Claw to negotiate over his plans for mass death. Michael goes after them in his Armor, destroys their dragon Armor, and wipes out the threat.

Prayer's End

25 min

In an underwater cavern the group runs into dragon Armors. While the others hold them off, Van and Ray face two of the Original Seven, piloted by Carossa and Melissa. Ray kills Melissa, and Carossa, wild with rage, is shot down as well.

Wonderful Universe

At an abandoned base the group finds a map and a lone survivor. Fasalina reveals that the Claw is dying of an incurable illness. He means to use the flower to remake the world, making everyone equal at the cost of sacrifice.

Prayers to Heaven & Peace on Earth

Van fights Fasalina's Armor while Michael launches toward the moon in his own. On his way out Michael destroys a satellite base, and Dann is left powerless for the time being. A prayer sent to the sky and peace on the ground cross each other at cross purposes.

For Whose Sake?

Wendy comes face to face with the Claw and questions what he is really after. The team fires Van into the sky using Ray's Armor as fuel, aiming for another satellite to bring Dann back. As Van weakens, Ray's eyesight is failing too.

A Song for Everyone

Michael reaches the moon and finds a base in ruins, its crew all dead. From there he transmits a destroyer system down to Earth. With Dann restored, the group travels for seven days toward the Claw's base.

End of a Dream

25 min

Ray detonates his own Armor near the Claw's base, and is killed by the Claw's men. Joshua is taken. Birthday, the Claw's ultimate weapon, begins to move.

Fool Comes by Armor

In the distribution chambers, Carmen confronts Fasalina. Van's restored Dann fights Michael's Saudade and finally cripples it. The others sabotage the machinery around them and open the way to the last fight.

Tuxedo Blowing in Tomorrow

In the final fight Van kills the Claw and the base comes down. Underground, Michael and Fasalina die together. Years later, Van unexpectedly meets Wendy again, and their journey comes to its end.
